The Frank Strang Senior Center had become so popular that the original County library building, built in the 1970’s, was unable to hold all of its activities. The facility was given a new image that would reflect the modern, energetic people who gather there.

Red Chair took a hand-me-down old county library and transformed it into a 21st century center of vibrant senior life and activity. A large outdoor terrace was added to welcome visitors. The expanded multipurpose room is airy and bright with a new wall of windows and 7,000 sf of open space. New space was built to allow for better bathrooms, a card room, a lounge, offices and storage.
