A2H's Transportation Department has a wide range of roadway planning and design experience.  Route studies, cost estimates and construction documents can all be provided in-house with A2H's dedicated staff.

A2H's transportation department in conjunction with our in-house survey and bridge design department can provide the full range of design services required for a complete roadway project.  Services include preplanning, archeological assessment, public hearing and construction documents and administration.

General Aviation:

A2H provides planning, design, surveying and construction needs for all types of general aviation, including:  runway safety area improvements; parallel taxiways; runway and taxiway lighting and signage; pavement design strengthening and alternatives; fueling systems; 405 surveys; T-hangars; corporate and maintenance hangars; terminal buildings; grant administration and alternative financing schemes; drainage systems and airport layout plans. 

Commercial Aviation:

A2H provides all types of survey, design and construction administration for runway improvements including:  taxiway improvements and connectors; drainage systems and structures; runway and taxiway lighting and signage.

Bridges:

A2H has completed bridge survey, design and construction observation, on over 400 bridges in the past 15 years. These bridges consisted of all types of structures ranging from multiple-barrel box culverts to multi-spanned structures. We also offer extensive Context Sensitive Bridge Design combining standard structural engineering with aesthetically pleasing architecture.

Roads:

Over the years, A2H has developed core expertise in roadway design. Our experienced engineering design staff in conjunction with our in-house survey department, routinely produces cost-efficient roadway designs. Alignment studies where necessary are an added value service A2H can provide.
