Getting the most out of your infrastructure assets has become a necessity, because increased demand often conflicts with lower funding. Understanding where current design trends meet the needs and desires of the community is the key to successful design.
A2H has experience with a broad array of government construction projects, having provided design and construction administration for a wide variety of transportation, institutional, educational and medical facilities. Whether municipal, county, state or federal government, our engineering staff has the capability and experience to design sustainable infrastructure.
The sustainable design initiative is here to stay. Focal points of the initiative include human comfort with resulting increased productivity, energy and water efficiency, and land and material conservation. A2H is implementing the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) standards in the design of new structures and community development. We have incorporated these principles in school, downtown revitalization, public building and private sector projects.
Downtown revitalization for municipal and county government, with master planning for renovated buildings, streets, parks and landscapes can provide a fresh new look for an old downtown. A2H can help preserve the past with grant applications, historic restoration and planning that updates and integrates yesterday's sites with today's needs. We have designed or renovated City Halls, Libraries, Police and Fire Stations, Parks and Public Works complexes to refresh the look and meet the needs of the community.
A2H transportation design experience includes state roadways, bridges and maintenance facilities. Our local and county government experience includes roads, bridges, airfields, runways, taxiways and hangars. A2H regional government utility experience includes water treatment and distribution, wastewater collection and treatment, gas, landfills and storm drainage.
