We’d like to introduce you to the newest member of our Oxford office, Debbie Wilbanks Cherry, AIA. Debbie joins A2H as a senior associate principal. She will help lead business development in the northern Mississippi and Greater Memphis areas and serve as project manager across a variety of markets.
With almost 30 years practicing architecture, Debbie has excelled in design and master planning for healthcare, higher education, and military clients, among others. She’s managed projects totaling over $250 million in the past decade. Most recently she served as assistant director of construction and renovation at the University of Mississippi.
Debbie is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. She was elected by the architects in the state of Mississippi to serve on the Executive Board for eight consecutive years, of which four years she served on the Executive Board and most recently as Past President of the American Institute of Architects, Mississippi Chapter. Debbie also currently sits on the advisory board of the College of Architecture, Art + Design at Mississippi State University, her alma mater.
