New Associates

We’re pleased to announce three new associates among our staff. Associates serve as ambassadors of the firm and are recognized for their high level of leadership, integrity, and dedication.

Michael Shelton, RLA, ASLA

Michael has been with A2H for four years. He serves as the manager of the firm’s landscape architecture department. Michael is currently managing landscape, transportation, and parks projects for several West Tennessee clients including the City of Memphis, the Memphis Zoo, and the Mississippi River Corridor of Tennessee.


David Smith, Ph.D., PE

David joined A2H in 2012 and currently manages the firm’s civil engineering team. He specializes in environmental engineering, helping communities address deficient infrastructure systems such as water treatment and distribution, wastewater treatment and collection, and stormwater drainage.


Stewart Smith, AIA, EDAC, LEED AP

Stewart joined A2H four years ago. He serves as senior architect, managing a majority of the firm’s healthcare and education projects. His current clients in healthcare include Baptist Memorial Health Care and the Memphis Health Center, and current educational clients include Bethel University, St. Benedict at Auburndale, and the Germantown Municipal School District.
